The book explores technique as both a philosophy and a theory, emphasizing the body as an instrument of expression. Spanning 200 pages with 250 images and 50 illustrations, this work offers an exceptional scope, aiming to inspire and enlighten dancers, educators, and the arts community. The accompanying lecture-demonstration features a book reading, a 15-minute live dance performance, discussions on the book’s content, projections of Carroll’s photography and short films, and a Q&A session moderated by Heather Robles.
